Mr. Van Epps is a highly decorated service disabled Vietnam War veteran who retired from the US Army as a commissioned officer in 1988 to pursue a second career in Information Technology (IT). After working for Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), IBM, Lockheed Martin, Litton PRC and Computer Generated Solutions, he formed Information Sciences Consulting, Inc. (ISCI) in 1998 and incorporated the company in 2001. Initially, ISCI was operated as a consulting company offering Mr. Van Epps’ expertise as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in business development for third party companies until 2011. Beginning in 2011 ISCI became his primary focus and since that time he has been able to certify ISCI as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) through the VA. ISCI is growing at 200% plus year-over-year with an active business development focus to continue its strong growth for years to come.
Bringing over 15 years of experience to the position of Senior Vice President of Administration and Human Resources, Ms. Beaudoin employs her extensive knowledge and invaluable insight in Administrative and Human Resources in making ISCI a successful enterprise. As one of the original employees of ISCI, Ms. Beaudoin has full knowledge of the company's beginnings and its focus on the future. Having worked in both the public and private sectors before joining the staff at ISCI, Ms. Beaudoin understands the human element of business and keeps the company in tune and aligned with the human side of working with people. Ms. Beaudoin holds a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland.
Bob Johnson is an executive manager with 42 years of comprehensive hands-on operational and business development know-how in leading and managing organizations from start up to significant business in the Department of Defense, Intelligence and Federal markets. Bob is a retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel and combat veteran, who served over 20 years on active duty. He has held numerous command positions within the Army and top DoD management positions as Director of a Joint Service (DoD) acquisition program office ($1Billion+). After retirement from the Army, Bob served in Industry where he managed various large Information Technology programs in support of the DoD, Intelligence Community, and other Government Agencies. He has 9 years of C-level executive experience serving as Executive Vice President of Business Development for a large Government Contractor and President of several small and mid-size Corporations providing services to the Federal Government. Bob currently serves as Executive director, Business Development for ISCI.
Bob graduated from the United States Military Academy, at West Point, NY with a Bachelor of Sciences - General Engineering. He has completed post graduate work at the Chicago Graduate School of Business in the Strategic Marketing Executive Program, Command General Staff College, and the Defense Systems Management College.
Sally is a highly accomplished Senior IT recruiter for Federal Government contracts and clients in private industry. She is a full-cycle recruiter who has managed staffing for multi-state and multi-site operations. She has a keen ability to source and spot talent for hard-to-fill positions and for high volume, short-turnaround staffing needs. The challenge of finding just the right candidate for a position and her strong rapport with hiring managers are her greatest assets. She credits strong listening skills, responsiveness to clients, and a second sense about candidates for her ability to surpass client expectations and for her high percentage of placements. Sally grew up in the Washington D.C. area and received a B.A. in Political Science and Middle Eastern Affairs from George Washington University. As such, she has a broad knowledge of the ins and outs of Federal Government operations. In her spare time, Sally is a voracious reader and enjoys long-distance biking.
Michelle Swarthout was hired by Information Sciences Consulting Inc. (ISCI) in March 2017 and assumed the responsibilities of Director of Finance and Accounting in August 2017 and the additional responsibilities of Operations Manager in November 2017. Michelle oversees all aspects of the Finance and Accounting and is also responsible for the day to day operations of ISCI. Michelle works closely with the CEO, to help to develop and implement the mission and vision of ISCI. Michelle received her Bachelor’s Degree from Pennsylvania State University in State College, PA. She brings with her over 25 years of finance and accounting experience in both the private and public sectors.
Lorena Moyano joined ISCI in September 2016. She has over 10 years of experience in Human Resources and working for Government Contractors. She has earned her Master’s Degree in Business Administration and later earned her certificate as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR). Lorena and her family love taking trips inside and out of the United States. Lorena is fluent in Spanish and intermediate in Portuguese.
